Huge Congratulations to EuroGymnastics’ Bochin Tong for winning the Lv.10 Senior National Championships this past weekend!
National championships are the most important event of the season and, we can’t be more proud of Bochin for winning not only the 2006 category but all the age categories, becoming the grand champion of the event! Bochin also won the Ball and Ribbon events, winning Gold medals.
During the competition, Bochin suffered from a severe nosebleed and had to compete in Clubs and Ribbon with tampons in her nose, breathing through her mouth only.Although we are super happy and proud of the champion title and gold medals, what made us most proud was the fact that Bochin was able to compose herself and bring her A game under the most difficult circumstances, showing a great mental and physical toughness.
Bochin, you are such a great role model for our upcoming generations! A few years ago, USAG declared EuroGymnastics’ Gabrielle Lawenstein the “Sportsperson of the Year” we are very proud that with your courage and determination, you became another EuroGymnastics athlete to impress with the strong character you built!
